Our commitment

The welfare of every child is our first priority. The Academy follows safeguarding principles drawn from Plymouth Parkway FC and English football.

In practice

• Coaches are recruited and checked in line with local requirements.
• Appropriate coach-to-player ratios for each age group.
• Medical information is shared only with those who need it to keep a child safe.
• Photography and video of players is used only with parental consent.
• We never publish lists of the children in the Academy.

If you have a concern about a child's welfare, contact the Academy's safeguarding lead through the Contact page. In an emergency, contact the local emergency services.
